It's soft that is for sure, but this brush does seem to "pull" the hair up on my face as nice as the Parker. Plus made in China. But it looks nice as an accessory to the MkII, especially if you have a nice black holder to go with!

Shaving brushes aren't always stylish and effective. Some shed and don't spread the lather equally. Not this brush. Easy on the face and spreads lather perfectly. Also, no shedding.

I was skeptical about spending so much on a shaving brush until I bought a $5 one, and the quality difference is insane. This brush is really well made l, nothing falling apart or getting bent and fraying everywhere.
